Miller's Jewelers was founded in 1946. The original location was 1518 Cole
Street in Enumclaw, Washington. This is where Don Miller opened his original
store after completing watchmakers school in Oregon. He enjoyed great success
and was very active in Enumclaw raising two daughters with his first wife Zola.
He was even the mayor of Enumclaw. Mr. Miller continued to operate this store
until his retirement in 1988. His original store is still in operation under his
son-in-laws direction and is now called Tom Poe Diamond Jewelers.
Todd began working for Don in May of 1993 after the store had been in Moses
Lake for close to four years. Todd had just completed his business education at
Washington State University and the store had grown enough that Don needed more
help. Don immediately immersed Todd in every aspect of the business even taking
him to trade shows after only two months of employment. Don believed very
strongly in the benefits of buying groups, the Independent Jewelers Organization
in particular, and participated in both shows every year.
Today Todd and the staff at Miller's Fine Jewelers continue the tradition of
offering high quality jewelry with first class customer service to the people of
Moses Lake and the surrounding communities.
