TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
At
Miller's Fine Jewelers, it is with great pride and integrity that we exceed our
customers' expectations in service, selection and value. We are committed to
offering you knowledgeable, friendly service and providing the finest quality
jewelry at the best price. Thank you from all of us for your business.
Return Policy:
Millers Fine Jewelers
will gladly accept for return or exchange any item purchased from us providing
it is in new condition within 30 days of the purchase date. Any jewelry that has
been altered or worn is not eligible for return or exchange since it is no
longer new. This includes rings that have been sized and/or worn. The original
receipt must accompany all returns. Any jewelry purchased on a credit card will
be returned on the same card. Purchases by cash or check will be refunded by
check only. A waiting period of ten days will be required for customer's checks
to clear before any refunds on checks can be made. Refunds will only be issued
to the original purchaser. All boxes and instructions must be included with
watch returns or exchanges. Refunds are not allowed on special order items,
custom made items or sale items.
Special
Orders:
Special orders will require a non-refundable deposit
in the amount of 50%. Special orders are not refundable or returnable. A special
order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered
at the client's request.
Diamond Exchange:
Miller's Fine Jewelers will accept undamaged and unaltered diamond solitaire
earrings, pendants, and rings at their full purchase price (less tax) in trade.
The new item must equal at least twice the purchase price of the trade in value.
Layaway Policy:
Articles may be placed
on layaway for a maximum of 120 days with a minimum deposit of 20%. Monthly
payments are required. If the item has not been paid for within 120 days it will
be returned to stock and a store credit in the amount of the original deposit
and subsequent payments will be issued.
Liability:
Miller's Fine Jewelers uses special care in
the handling and setting of gemstones but cannot be responsible for any damage
that may occur in such handling and setting. Further, we cannot be responsible
for damage attributable to unstable enhancement processes, for pressure or
heat-sensitive stones, or stones with fractures as there is an inherent risk in
handling and setting them. We recommend you have your jewelry insured. Please
consult your insurance agent for your jewelry insurance needs or you may
purchase a "GemShield" policy from us. Miller's Fine Jewelers will supply a free
appraisal on any item purchased from us.
Servicing
and Cleaning:
Miller's Fine Jewelers is happy to clean and
check any jewelry you own regardless of where you purchased it free of charge.
We recommend you do this twice a year. Please know that we check your jewelry as
best we can but there are inherent qualities in jewelry that cannot be detected
by visual inspection such as chlorine damage, poor casting, etc. Therefore, our
inspections do not come with any guarantee your ring will not break or gems will
not come out. Again, we recommend you have your jewelry insured.
Jewelry repair guarantee:
All jewelry
repairs are guaranteed for 6 months excluding unreasonable wear or abuse. We are
not responsible for any repair left over 90 days after completion of intended
repair task. Most white gold jewelry is rhodium plated which is not a permanent
treatment.
Diamond Disclosure:
The diamonds at Miller's Fine Jewelers have been purchased from legitimate
sources not involved in funding conflict diamonds in compliance with the United
Nations resolutions. Miller's Fine Jewelers has personal knowledge and/or
written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
Returned Checks: Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00
fee.
