Always at the forefront of technology, Miller’s Fine Jewelers has owned Gemvision design software since 1996. Enhancing communication between jeweler, customer, and craftsman alike, Digital Goldsmith 4.0 Design Software makes it easy to perform custom designs and remounts. We can show you on-screen and in-scale what your piece of jewelry will look like before it is actually produced and print a picture of the item for you to take with you. Using Digital Goldsmith, we can also alter existing jewelry captured by the camera. Want to add another diamond to your ring? Curious what it might look like? With Digital Goldsmith we can show you exactly what your existing ring or other jewelry would look like with a new gemstone. With this technology it is unnecessary for you to understand jeweler lingo. You can see on screen what the item will look like and make changes to the design instantly. If you have always had that design in your head and want to make it a reality, stop in to Miller’s Fine Jewelers soon. |
Laser Welder
The latest technological advancement for jewelers is the laser welder. This new machine for jewelry repair has created many new and improved ways of preserving those precious family heirlooms. With laser technology, jewelers can now do repairs faster and of a higher quality than with traditional methods. With the laser welder, repairs are made with results equal to a new piece of jewelry. We use metal which is the same as the original item and weld it instead of soldering. This eliminates the solder altogether and creates a stronger repair. Because the laser welder uses light instead of heat, we can do repairs right next to heat sensitive gemstones without having to remove them. The laser also works great on repairing broken eye glass frames and watch bands. The new weld is even better than the original and almost invisible. Miller’s Fine Jewelers is one of the first jewelry stores in Eastern Washington to have a laser welder. We gladly welcome any repairs you have been putting off or were told couldn’t be done. |
